Please see the close-up photographs of the 玉山 (Gyokuzan) signatures. Attribution beyond the documented Gyokuzan signature is left to the collector. The earthenware body, fine crackle glaze, decoration and mark are consistent with Meiji-period Japanese Satsuma, likely late 19th century. 13 pieces total: • 4 dessert/salad plates • 4 saucers • 2 cups • 1 lidded teapot • 1 matching lidded pouring vessel/creamer • 1 matching sugar bowl, original lid missing Condition: Antique condition with age-related crazing, areas of discoloration/staining and gilt/decorative wear. The teapot and pouring-vessel lids have old repairs. The matching sugar bowl is missing its lid. Please examine all photographs closely for condition and the individual Gyokuzan signatures.
