Fantastic old Velvet Pipe & Cigarette Tobacco pocket tin from Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. Classic red graphics with the recognizable Velvet tobacco imagery. The back advertises tobacco made from “finest Kentucky Burley leaf” and describes it as “mild and mellow.” Great early tobacco advertising piece with loads of authentic patina. Tin shows heavy age-related wear, surface oxidation, scratches and graphic loss, all adding to its primitive advertising look. Lid is present.
