Product Details

USA Circa 1890-1910 (?) The American Brilliant Period of cut glass, spanning roughly from the mid-1880s to the outbreak of the First World War, represents the absolute apex of decorative glass production in the United States. During this era, master cutters working in factories across states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Massachusetts transformed heavy, high-lead crystal blanks into dazzling displays of brilliance and refracted light. Craftsmen utilized rapid iron and stone wheels to cut deep geometric patterns, while incorporating delicate intaglio and wheel-etched floral motifs known as the Flower Period style.Today, these pieces remain highly prized by collectors for their exceptional weight, clarity, and the painstaking manual skill required to execute every cut. 4" tall 3" diameter *GLOWS GREEN* Note: Matching Sugar bowl, creamer, salt and pepper shakers, and Compote available

About the Seller
Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of Whatnot! In my little corner you'll find a big variety of items, guaranteed something for everyone! My passion and main interest is anything VINTAGE and GLASS! I also make special times to share pre-owned clothes and storage unit/garage sale-type finds. Come check me out! But wait! Don't go, yet! Here's some more for you to read about me. My name is Audrey, and I'm in Florida. PLEASE, Forgive my social awkwardness and horrid case of word vomit!! I'll make up for it with my true love of anything odd or eclectic. I HATE throwing anything away that has life in it and just know there's SOMEONE out there who just HAS TO HAVE IT! I've spent over 2 years as a buyer on Whatnot now. I've learned a lot. I've bought A LOT! Now I have to purge much because I simply do not have space for it. My heart will break many times saying goodbye to a lot of it, but I will be so happy to share it all with you.
