This rare and captivating 1920s Art Deco panel lithograph, titled "Cupid's Silken Fetters," is another spectacular masterpiece from the popular English illustrator Marion C. Crowe, published under her prominent alternative pseudonym Tsanya (and frequently collected alongside her Marygold signatures). The artwork displays a dreamy, hyper-stylized theatrical courtyard scene under a crescent moon, featuring glamorous flapper-era figures dressed in flowing satin and silk costumes. To the left, a towering, blooming floral arbor rises into the night sky, while an ornate golden hanging lantern casts a soft glow from an architectural stone archway on the right. Housed in its highly desirable, original dark wood frame with a slender blue accent paint inlay that directly accentuates the cool tones of the sky, this genuine century-old print is an absolute treasure.
