Vintage pair of round cufflinks featuring a raised crown emblem surrounded by a laurel wreath on textured silver-tone faces. The backs and swivel toggle bars are gold-tone, creating a contrasting two-tone appearance. The cufflinks have a traditional swivel-bar closure and appear to be older costume or dress accessories. The design has a military/royal heraldic look, but there are no visible maker, military-unit, or precious-metal markings, so the exact origin and maker are unknown. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age-related wear. There is surface tarnish, discoloration and plating wear, particularly on the backs and toggle hardware. One toggle/post shows green oxidation/verdigris, and both backs show scratching and finish wear. The fronts retain good raised detail with additional darkening/patina around the recessed areas.
