Distinctive 1969 Bulova Accutron, commonly nicknamed the “Golden Shield” for its oversized asymmetrical case design. Features a textured gray dial with a contrasting horizontal stripe, applied gold-tone markers, date window at 3 o’clock, and a smooth-sweep electronic tuning-fork movement. The M9 caseback code dates it to 1969. The case is marked 14K gold-filled—not solid gold—and shows noticeable scratches, edge wear, and areas of finish loss consistent with age.
