The VeriFone VX 520 CTLS comes with an EMV certified smart card/ chip reader and an NFC/ CTLS reader. The unit has 160 megabytes of memory and a dual comm modem, meaning it can communicate over a regular phone line or over an Ethernet connection (IP, DSL, Cable modem, T1, etc). The unit has been fully tested and is guaranteed working. The terminal has been cleared of all programming, passwords, and sponsor certificates (aka, the unit is unlocked), and is ready to be downloaded with your service provider's software.
