First ever DVD release in USA. Day 1 release. Graded 9/8 by IGS. IGS Cert: 3158069 Twister was released 3 times on DVD in 1997 (launch of the DVD format in the U.S. in March 1997 + two more times before the end of the year). Day 1 edition (this listing) lists special features as “Bonus” on the back & security sticker over shrink wrap on top of case. 2nd release included a Warner Bros silver metallic sticker on the front which says “Special Features” while still listing them as “Bonus” on the back. 3rd release of 1997 (mid-year) changed the word “Bonus” to “Special Features”. This is an important piece of physical media/film history in very high grade. Incredibly rare to see one of these still sealed let alone graded. As of June 10, 2026, there are 2 other graded copies I’ve seen on the open market of this first edition- graded WATA 9.6 for $100k BUT with a WB 75th anniversary sticker on the front, as well as a CGC 8.5 for $3,499.99.
