This natural Tanzanite is stunning. It's beautifully saturated with that rich velvety violet color Tanzanite is known for. It's exceptionally clean and it sparkles immensely. Known as a single-source gemstone, Tanzanite is only mined in a small 4.3 mile long by 1.2 mile wide mine in Tanzania, Africa. It is called a generational gemstone as it was only introduced to the market in 1968 and the mine just recently closed due to the depletion of the mineral.
