Destroying the House of Wonder hurled the Justice League Dark far into the future. They must soon escape or else die. Strange sounds herald an attack by horrible things bearing Felix Faust's visage; he sought and attained immortality. As the eons passed he adapted to survive, becoming a monster. He consumes Nightmare Nurse when she attacks, but she bursts free. Then the League realizes the air is going, consumed by the end of Everything; Faust can help if the Nurse will restore him. She does, and he does. He explains how he sought and attained immortality, and how lonely he has become. He sought to consume them to assauge that. As Swamp Thing dies (the Green is long gone), Faust leads them to a flower that contains all of the green, restoring the elemental even as it dies. Nightmare Nurse, speculating that the universe is cyclic, wonders if they can escape by leaping into the void. A second Faust appears, the real one of which the first one was only a part. That part sacrifices itself
