This natural Tanzanite is amazing. It's impeccably clean and beautifully saturated, displaying a vivid violet hue. It's cut perfectly and it sparkles immensely. Known as a single-source gemstone, Tanzanite is only mined in a small 4.3 mile long by 1.2 mile wide mine in Tanzania, Africa. It is called a generational gemstone as it was only introduced to the market in 1968 and the mine just recently closed due to the depletion of the mineral. This gemstone is perfect for a ring, pendant or necklace setting, jeweler supply or other jewelry making and craft projects; or will just make a beautiful addition to any collector’s current gem collection.
