Crafted in France, circa 1920, the antique wood and brass fireplace wood coffer stands on original casters; the trunk is decorated with repousse tavern scene motifs in the manner of David Teniers on the top and front. The slant top opens to inside storage. The small decorative trunk is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original rich patinated brass finish. Needs Hinges/top reattached, and small place where brass has separated from wood (see pictures). Measures: 23.5" W x 16" D x 21" H
