This is a Vintage 1950's NON-WORKING Timex mechanical watch. It has a chrome plated base and the back says Base Metal bezel s.steel back. Dial is gray. Has a metal steel mesh band that is in excellent condition. There is no wear noted. The dial turns to set hand but does not wind. It is in great condition with hardly no wear. I do not open the watches to expose their inner workings. Again, it is NON-WORKING maybe it can be fixed or use it for parts. Back of watch band says HONG KONG ALL STEEL
