Here is a vintage Seiko 6105-8119 150m dive watch from the Vietnam Era. This watch came from a veteran’s estate sale. This model was made famous by the epic movie Apocalypse Now. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The same model was worn by Captain Willard played by Martin Sheen. This is NOT the screen used watch. This is just the same model. Automatic iconic 6105B movement runs and keeps good time but service history is unknown. I got this at a estate sale so service is recommended. Date changes normally at 12 midnight as it should. Bezel, case and caseback does have scratches and scuffs, but I think it adds to the unique charm. Crystal has deep scratches that can NOT be polished but I think it shadows beautifully on the dial. Powerful Native American Indian head turquoise stretch bracket is used and not original to the watch. Endlink looks 1-2mm smaller then the watch lugs so their is a gap. This watch is a must for any military, Seiko or Apocalypse Now movie watch fan.
