From a sealed 1970s blind box lot of 1,000 miniature pewter figurines, this set of 7 unicorn figurines is an extraordinary find! Only seven unicorns were discovered (less than 1% of the lot!) and each carries a different semi precious stone mounted on its back of Rose Quartz, Fluorite, Carnelian Agate, Moonstone, Calcite, Quartz, and Aventurine. All figurines are stamped “MFS Peltro”, an Italian pewter manufacturer known for high-quality castings. Even rarer, each unicorn includes its original blind box that’s preserved in excellent condition. This may not represent the full production run, but it is the only known grouping of this kind to ever surface.
