Product Details

This is an 1883 V nickel without the word “CENTS”. It was dipped in gold and passed off in 1883 as a five dollar gold piece. To stop this fraud, the US Mint then added the word CENTS to the back of the nickel. This has been verified as a real one by ICG, not a reproduction.
