The short story is we found Potato while vacationing in Puerto Rico earlier this year. Locals said he had been abandoned around a year before and had been living on a beach ever since. He was in rough shape, had scars, and some open wounds. We networked with rescues and found a way to bring him to Arizona so we could adopt him. Once at a vet, we found out he was heartworm positive and has a broken canine tooth. We are currently treating the heartworms and will be able to neuter him and fix his tooth once he tests negative.
