This is an antique Meiji Era (1868-1912) imperial Japanese cloisonné vase measuring at around 6” tall. This poison is made with crushed sandstone, making the phase glisten in the sun like starry sky. The blue is probably made with crushed lapis, and the green might be made with crushed nephrite. This is an impressive museum quality vase. There is one small flaw shown in the pictures where a tiny part of the face has a dent, but it does not impact the beauty and history of this piece at all.
