Pair of vintage cobalt blue frosted (satin) glass candle holders with metal tripod stands. These deep blue holders have a smooth satin finish and ground pontil on the base, suggesting mid-century American glass production. The style and finish are consistent with Viking Glass (New Martinsville, WV), ca. 1940s–1960s, although they are unmarked as many Viking pieces were. They may also have been produced by another quality glasshouse of the era, such as L.E. Smith. The glass inserts are set in three-legged wrought metal stands, which show natural age patina.
