The Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC) is a retro gaming upscaler designed to convert analog video signals (like RGB, component, or SCART) from classic consoles into crisp, lag-free HDMI output for modern displays. Unlike traditional scalers, it uses line multiplication rather than buffering, resulting in near-zero latency and preserving original signal quality with sharp pixels and vibrant colors. Ideal for retro enthusiasts wanting to play older consoles on HDTVs without input lag.
