This beautiful pair are cut from Paraiba colored YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet), a man made gem that has the same crystal structure as natural garnet. YAG is used in all kinds of industries as components for lasers, PET scanners, and radiation detectors. It also makes for some beautiful and interesting gems. These gems have 52 facets each. The cut and polish are excellent.
