I found this Volupte compact that was in desperate need of a face lift. After cleaning, buffing, and scrubbing, she came back to life with some help from Vintage Glass Stones. She has a pearlized gold textured finish, the inside shows signs of age to the mirror. The closure is in good working condition and press it down - a bit of powder comes out from some glamorous lady from the past. The inside shows a dark spot which is where the powder disk was glued originally. It is not verdigris. On the outside, moody multicolored glass stones in various shapes and settings dazzle. The perfect vanity piece. A beauty restored & reimagined.
