Echeveria Blue Bird forms a large, elegant, and well-proportioned rosette. The structure is tight and symmetrical, with a classic, formal appearance that can become quite sculptural as it matures and develops a short stalk. The leaves are broad, spoon-shaped, and notably thick and fleshy. They often have a gentle upward cupping, which gives the rosette a full, substantial look. The primary color is a soft, powdery blue or a blue-gray. This is its most distinctive feature. When exposed to bright sunlight, the tips of the leaves and the outer edges can develop a delicate blush of pink, lavender, or soft violet.
