Beautiful antique cobalt blue and gold gilt demitasse cup and saucer in “ST.JAMES” pattern from Crown Staffordshire, England. Ornate gold gilt floral like design. Cup measures approx 2”h and 2" in diameter . Saucer measures approx 4" in diameter. Condition: Excellent! No cracks, chips, crazing or repair. Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co. Ltd. was a china manufacturer at the Minerva Works in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The company started as T.A. & S. Green in 1876 and began trading as the Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co. in 1889. The company was known for producing a variety of bone china products, including dinnerware, teaware, and decorative items. The St. James pattern is a discontinued design.
