This is a vintage CATERPILLAR metal watch fob. It’s a collectible advertising piece that CAT dealerships gave out in appreciation for doing business (to customers and vendors) and in appreciation and recognition for service (to employees). It’s got a leather strap with a simple buckle clasp. See pics!
