Brooch This is a beautiful brooch by Capri of New York of a big cat on the prowl in the wild. Gold color and covered with a multitude of rhinestones in different colors. Photos here show it with different backgrounds and lighting Capri was founded in 1952 on Fifth Avenue in New York City by Sol Smith. It was originally named "DelNicola" and was renamed Capri in the 1960s.Pieces are marked with "Capri" and often a copyright symbol after 1955. The company closed around 1977. Since Capri jewelry is no longer produced they have become sought after collectable pieces. Measures approximately 2-1/2" Long.
