Link awakens from a 100-year slumber in the Shrine of Resurrection with no memories of his past. He learns that a century prior, a malevolent entity known as Calamity Ganon devastated the kingdom, killed the royal champions, and left Hyrule in ruins. Princess Zelda has spent the last 100 years using her sacred powers to trap Ganon inside Hyrule Castle. Guided by the spirit of the late King, Link must journey across the untamed wilderness to reclaim his lost memories, weaken Ganon's hold by freeing four mechanical Divine Beasts, and ultimately save the realm.
