Small tools are a discrete way of tackling everyday cutting tasks, and the Rate shows you why. Whether it’s opening packages or breaking down boxes, the Wharncliffe blade slices through common cutting obstacles with its low tip. While this is a smaller folder, it’s comfortable to hold in a pinch grip, especially with added handle jimping. The Rate also opens effortlessly with assisted opening and locks into place with a frame lock. This mighty mini fits snugly in the pocket with a reversible deep-carry clip. With all of these features, the Rate earns a 10/10 for everyday utility use.
