Beautiful vintage decorative spoon rest featuring a raised relief carousel horse on a colorful striped pole. The horse is accented in turquoise, coral/orange, yellow and blue with ornate detailing. The recessed background appears to incorporate real dried botanical/floral material beneath a glossy clear finish, giving the piece an unusual dimensional look. An ornate scalloped border with gold-tone detailing surrounds the design, while the elongated shape provides a resting area for a spoon or cooking utensil.
