Coco Blend swaps half the bark-based structure for coco husk and chips at a one-to-one ratio with our standard base. Coco holds water differently than bark, rewetting evenly rather than channeling around dry pockets once it has fully dried out, and it breaks down more slowly, so the structure holds up over a longer stretch between repots. It is a good option for growers who want to move away from peat-heavy mixes or who have had trouble with bark-based blends compacting over time, without losing the biofungicide, mycorrhizae, and pH buffering carried over from the rest of the line.
