Longaberger Collectors Club J.W. Collection Miniature Gathering Basket 2000-2001 Edition. The Longaberger Company was founded in 1973 in Dresden, Ohio, and became renowned for handcrafted maple baskets woven by American artisans. The J.W. Collection Miniature series was created as exclusive pieces for Collectors Club members, named after founder J.W. Longaberger, with limited annual editions that often featured signatures from family members. These miniature baskets are highly valued by Longaberger collectors for their craftsmanship, limited production numbers, and historical significance as representations of American basket-weaving tradition. The 2000-2001 Gathering Basket edition is particularly sought after by dedicated collectors who appreciate the combination of functional design and collectible appeal.
