Productdetails

Fenton Uranium fairy lamp from 1979 featuring the hand-painted Deer in the Woods winter scene. The shade is decorated with deer, trees, snow and textured glass frit accents. It is dated 1979 and hand signed by the artist. The signature appears to read A. Lurry or S. Lurry. The custard glass produces a strong bright green glow under UV light. This is a two-piece fairy lamp measuring approximately 4.75” tall when assembled. The base measures approximately 3.25” in diameter. There are no chips or cracks. There is a little age-related discoloration on some, but not all, of the glass frit. There are also a couple of marks on the interior from melted red candle wax that was previously inside. The wax was carefully removed, but a few marks remain. Please see photos for condition, hand-painted details, artist signature and UV glow.
