Pictured are 8 glass slides with what I believe are Civil War pictures. Some of the pictures have text underneath that I have included in my description. I have placed the slides on a lighter surface to help identify the pictures on the slides. I have no expertise in photographs so not sure of antique pictures someone took of a picture of if these were actual photographs. I will attempt to describe photos from left to right using the information located under the picture. 1. Picture of all 8 slides 2. Between decks drawing guns drawn by Allen Redwood 3. Battle holding American flag 4. Civil War Officer? 5.The bivouac in the line of battle questioning a prisoner 6. The 29th Pennsylvania twelfth corps in the trenches 7. Soldiers and horses? 8.
