Productdetails

Brass candlesticks have been a staple of domestic interior decoration for centuries, evolving from functional utilitarian lighting devices into purely decorative accessories. During the mid-20th century, countries such as India, Taiwan, and various European nations manufactured vast quantities of cast brass homewares for export to Western markets. These pieces frequently drew inspiration from earlier Georgian and Victorian styling, incorporating classic architectural elements like faceted columns and geometric stepped bases. The production process typically involved sand-casting molten brass in multi-part molds, followed by hand-finishing and polishing to achieve a bright, uniform luster. Lightly dusted only. Very decorative and in excellent condition. Measure 9-1/2 x 4 inches Total weight 3 pounds 5 ounces before packaging
