Beautiful vintage 6.5” covered porcelain ginger jar featuring an ornate Chinoiserie-inspired design in rich burgundy, rust and gold. The central scene depicts an elaborate horse-drawn chariot surrounded by stylized landscape and floral motifs, with intricate geometric and floral borders. Finished with a traditional domed lid and pointed finial with generous gilt accents throughout. A wonderful petite statement piece for Grandmillennial, Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, English Country or traditional decor. Approximately 6.5” tall including lid. Underside is essentially unmarked aside from a faint impressed production mark. Vintage condition with expected age/use wear, including possible gilt wear; please review photos.
