This is a beautiful vintage clear pressed glass bowl featuring a lovely embossed floral and vine pattern wrapping around the rim. The base is anchored by a sharp, dramatic multi-point starburst design that beautifully catches the light. The Glowing Secret:While this piece appears as elegant, completely clear glass under normal household lighting, it holds a hidden feature! Due to its historical composition, this bowl contains manganese. When placed under an ultraviolet (UV) blacklight—specifically a 365nm longwave light—it responds with a distinct lime-green fluorescent glow. This makes it a fantastic addition for collectors of UV glow glass, Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG), or Depression-era tableware.
