A distinctive vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Zephyr", circa 1958, reference 6582. Collectors know the Zephyr for its minimalist crosshair dial, applied dot markers and engine-turned sector bezel, which set it apart from a standard vintage Oyster. Case: 34mm stainless steel with a 14k yellow gold bezel (two-tone). Normal surface swirls and light scratches from careful wear; the gold engine-turned bezel shows warm tarnish and remains well defined. Dial and hands: Champagne/gold crosshair dial with an outer dot minute track and minimalist hour dots, aged into a warm consistent patina. Gilt leaf/dauphine hands show light oxidation typical for their age. Crystal: Acrylic, with a few light surface marks but a clear view of the dial. Movement: Officially Certified Chronometer automatic self-winding movement. Strap: Genuine Rolex brown crocodile strap on a Rolex signed stainless steel buckle. Recently fitted and showing minimal wear; the underside carries the Rolex crown with ROLEX GENEVA, GENUINE CROCODILE and SWISS MADE. Not original to the watch. Included: Green Rolex Oyster box with its printed outer sleeve, the inner lid stamped MONTRES ROLEX S.A. GENEVE SUISSE 68.00.71. Running and working condition. Serviced August 2026.
