We are pleased to present this vintage Patek Philippe reference 3410, dated from circa 1960. Featuring a 35mm solid 18K yellow gold case, black leather strap with signed 18K gold buckle, and its presentation box. Introduced in 1959, the reference 3410 is particularly interesting for its use of antimagnetic movements. Early examples were fitted with the caliber 12-AM 400, followed by the caliber 27-AM series beginning around 1960. This example is powered by the Patek Philippe caliber 27-AM 400, a Swiss manual-wind antimagnetic movement with 18 jewels. The movement is adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism, and five positions, as indicated by its engraved markings. and features hours, minutes, and small seconds. The silvered dial has applied gold stick hour markers, matching gold hands, an outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock. The 35mm round 18K yellow gold case features a smooth bezel, slim lugs, and a snap-on caseback. The inside caseback is signed Patek Philippe & Co. Genève, marked 18K 0.750, and stamped with the Geneva Key No. 1 hallmark identifying Ed. Wenger SA as the case manufacturer. This example retains its signed black leather strap and signed 18K yellow gold buckle. It has been inspected by our in-house watchmaker and is running and keeping time.
