The association between Coca-Cola and Santa Claus began in the 1920s through standard print advertisements, but it was Haddon Sundblom's iconic paintings, launched in 1931, that permanently cemented the warm, jolly, red-suited figure in global popular culture. These enduring commercial illustrations have since been licensed extensively for a wide variety of holiday merchandise, ranging from collector plates and plush toys to holiday puzzles and tins. Small promotional jigsaw puzzles featuring these classic Santa images were frequently produced as budget-friendly holiday gifts or premium items during the late 20th century. While major brand puzzles by manufacturers like Springbok often command modest collector interest, smaller unlicensed or promotional children's variants typically function as nostalgic holiday novelties rather than high-value antiques.
