I’m a OR Nurse specializing in Neurosurgery before becoming the Orthopedic Supervisor. In addition to my healthcare career, I served as a State-Certified Reserve Police Officer. Before retiring, I held the rank of Lieutenant & served as Asst. Commander of our Police Dept’s. Reserve Program. I worked weekends as a Reserve Officer & would often assist during the week after finishing my hospital shifts, helping w/special events & supplementing full-time officers. In 2007, I was forced to medically retire after sustaining a spinal injury when another driver ran a stop sign & struck my patrol car.Today,I enjoy spending time collecting coins, bullion, and paper currency as well as sports memorabilia & cards that I will pass on to my grandchildren
