Hello I’m Dianna. Daughter. Sister. Wife. Mother. Plangonologist.I eat, breathe and sleep dolls. It was 1998 when I purchased my first two collectible dolls – Tangerine Twist and Uptown Chic. Once bitten by the collecting bug, I became obsessed and became a dangerous collector acquiring anything that came in doll form. My taste included dolls from 2 to 42 inches – from paper to porcelain. I couldn’t wait for my next dolly fix. When something was hard to find, the thrill of the hunt was so exciting ... and it still is.Soon after realizing the impossibility of buying everything I liked, my focus narrowed mainly to fashion dolls, mostly Integrity Toys and Barbie. Attending doll shows, purchasing and trading online and in person, traveling to conventions, and Zoom meetings all nurture my obsession.Collecting dolls provides a distraction from life’s challenges and is a source of beauty and positivity. Being a doll’s “stylist” is a gratifying pastime, as it is so much fun to mix and match their clothing and accessories, restyle their hair and then photograph and display them. This rewarding hobby has allowed me to meet incredible and talented people “who get it” as well as discovering a love for photography and travel.Since retiring, I am downsizing my collection. My dolly goal now is to Share The Love.
