I enjoy family history, been working on mine for close to 40 years. My 4th ggf, Marsena Cannon, was a daguerreotype photographer working for Mr. Plume in Boston and with William Shew. He was the first in Utah and then continued his trade in San Francisco with Mr. Shew, who supplied him cases. I hope to one day own one of his photographs. I'm sure I can find it on What Not! I collect pre 1900 ephemera. I enjoy walking through cemeteries and reading headstones. Everyone has a story.
