My love for sewing patterns comes from my late mother, the best seamstress ever! Unfortunately I did not inherit her skill so began to collect patterns. I have a large collection now, which grew from Mum's private stash of Vogue patterns from the 40s, 50s, and some 60s. She made Vogues for herself, Helen Lee for my sister and me when we were young, then the mod Simplicity patterns for high school and college years.
