Stunning 1940s vintage stylized leaf brooch by legendary designer Alfred Philippe for Crown Trifari. Authentic double-marked piece featuring both the "Crown Trifari" emblem and the "Pat. Pend." stamp on the reverse.Features an epic, fine-jewelry quality openwork lattice backing. Each rhombus-shaped clear rhinestone is set in an individual open-back bezel to capture maximum light, accented by elegant rhinestone baguettes along the curved stem.CONDITION NOTES: Good vintage condition. Stones are secure and bright. Please note there is visible surface blistering/bubbling to the gold plating on the front face due to age-related oxidation beneath the proprietary Trifarium metal alloy layer. No major flaking, but the texture is present upon close inspection. Hinge and safety rollover clasp function perfectly. Beautiful addition to any high-end costume jewelry collection! Sold as-is.
