Up for grabs is an authentic mid-century modern masterpiece! This is a vintage Royal Copenhagen (Aluminia) Fajance round bowl from the highly collectible Tenera series. It was designed by renowned artist Kari Christensen (Cari Kristensen) in Denmark. The bowl features a striking, hand-painted abstract pattern in rich blues, purples, and brownish-yellow tones that perfectly capture the iconic 1960s-1970s Scandinavian art pottery aesthetic. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. There are absolutely no chips, no cracks, and no surface crazing at all. Structure is fully sound. Under very close inspection, there are some light, faint scratch marks on the outside surface that are hard to see unless under direct light. It displays beautifully. The backstamp is completely intact on the bottom, featuring the classic Royal Copenhagen crown stamp, the three wavy lines, the handwritten pattern fractions "428 / 2143", the painter's initials "VL", and the "CK" monogram.
