Stunning 1940s vintage stylized leaf brooch by legendary designer Alfred Philippe for Crown Trifari. Authentic double-marked piece featuring both the "Crown Trifari" emblem and the "Pat. Pend." stamp on the reverse.Features an epic, fine-jewelry quality openwork lattice backing. Each rhombus-shaped clear rhinestone is set in an individual open-back bezel to capture maximum light, accented by elegant rhinestone baguettes along the curved stem.CONDITION NOTES: Good vintage condition. Stones are secure and bright. Please note there is visible surface blistering/bubbling to the gold plating on the front face due to age-related oxidation beneath the proprietary Trifarium metal alloy layer.
