"After 32 years of hard work at the Salvation Army, I've hung up my boots for good. I spent my days running thrift stores, sorting through mountains of donations—let me tell ya, some of the stuff we got was downright bizarre. You wouldn’t believe the wild things people part with! From old lawn gnomes to vintage clothes that should’ve stayed in the past, it was a treasure hunt every day.But it wasn’t just about the stuff. I ran programs to help guys struggling with addiction, giving them a shot at turning their lives around. Seeing those folks find their feet again made it all worth it. Now, I’m off to enjoy the next chapter, but I’ll always remember the wild ride I had along the way
