A lot of life for the money. Thank you I am new buyer. The other 2 knives purchased were perfection. I have qualms with this particular (project) knife, but still give 5 stars for the price paid. The green bone is beautiful. The blade stock is thick, heavy, and quality steel. It should be darn near indestructible for camp chores. However, the geometry on the thick blade stock needed a choil. The lack of a choil left the last 0.5" or so of the blade incapable of being sharpened. Maybe that is normal for this grind choice? I will likely slowly, carefully grind a choil/ferro rod striker into the blade and then correct the adjacent blade edge and sharpen it properly. This blade is profiled with a high convex grind (reminiscent of a Bark River Knife). The blade stock is incredibly thick and heavy. The handle is beautiful well-constructed green bone and fitted to the knife... except at the blade end. The bone curvature was filled with an ugly grayish adhesive protruding out the blade end. I will Dremel clean & color match epoxy. Got them, Nice packaging & great quality knives, Thank you! These 2 knives are my first purchases from 970Bladeworks.
