While the older folks will instantly know this book, it was from a time if you died in a comic book, you were pretty much dead. No takebacks, do overs, or mulligans. We all know Supes is alive, and kicking so why even bring this up? Well that's because Ian masterfully recreated the cover of that book on a 2.5x3.5 inch piece of cardboard. It's absolutely gorgeous, evoking the raw emotion of seeing that cover as if for the first time again when I opened the package. This card really is a testament to his skill as an artist. Drawing that small is no easy feat as it is...but the whole cover?! From the fire escape railings on the brick buildings to the shattered glass windows...to the tie blowing in the wind from the man standing near the door on the far left to the remnants of his cape, turned into a flag. It's all here, and then some. It really is a masterpiece that I hope everyone can see. Truly above and beyond, thanks again Ian.
