I was born in 1954 now a retired self employed trim carpenter happily married since 1972. I just got back into model trains after breaking down my previous basement layout about 11 years ago. I’m now preparing for my new layout using an upstairs bedroom. I model the 50’s era using both steam and early diesel. My main areas will be a coal mine and a sawmill area both scratch built. My wife will continue to have her own area where nothing is weathered lol. I cut my own scaled lumber for structures I build. I also enjoy rebuilding old garden tractors mostly late 60’s-70’s. I previously started building model cars as I done in the late 60’s as a teenager. My favorites are the Gassers. I enjoy life every day and give God all the glory.
